If you’re looking for me and can’t find me, chances are I’m in my kitchen. Since I was three years old, baking has been my passion a comforting escape, a joyful pastime, and my favorite way to spend my time.
During the summer of 2023, I had the incredible opportunity to connect with the Helen Keller Institution for the Deaf and Deafblind. I spent weeks adapting to their unique learning methods and eventually led a workshop with them.
After several months of collaboration with the Helen Keller Institution for the Deaf and Deafblind, I created a Braille recipe book featuring options in both English and Hindi.
The book, titled Whisking in Silence: The Chocolate Edition, includes tactile graphics and written text to enhance the baking experience.
I published my book on August 3rd 2024 and hope to make an impact on individuals lives!
